While domestically the job to-hire ratio remains disproportionate, the same equation is some what flipped on its head in other parts of the world. Particularly, in emerging markets often referred to as BRIC, global companies are involved in a different “war for talent.” Following a recent Q&A in the Wall Street Journal Blog with Microsoft India’s head of HR about their increased demand for employees, the PI Worldwide Science team explores how talent acquisition methods are changing in emerging markets, both from the employer and applicant points of views.
